Drawa River
The Drawa
River is the most tourist-friendly of the three main
rivers for which we hire canoes and equipment. The Grade
1 / Grade 2 Drawa is largely located in the Drawa (Drawieński)
National Park in north-central-west Poland, on the
border between the provinces of Zachodniopomorskie,
Lubuskie and Wielkopolskie. The Drawa is a varied
river with some stretches not dissimilar in character to
mountain rivers. Most paddlers begin their canoe or
kayak tour on Lake Drawsko and follow the river down to
where the Drawa River joins the River Noteć near Krzyż.
A canoe trip can last anything from a day up to 10 days
down the River Drawa. The Notec can also be paddled as
far as the small town of Santok. We also hire canoes,
kayaks, and camping expedition equipment for use on the
River Warta and
River Obra in western Poland.
